UCOL International Nursing Students - Geneva Health's Free Service
Geneva Health offers a free service to UCOL's international nursing students who are undertaking a Short course in Competency Assessment for RNs, and/or Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Nursing course.

Zealand. We are in constant contact with healthcare
organizations so we know all the vacancies throughout New Zealand
and can offer you unbiased information to ensure you can make an
informed decision on where you would like to work.
Our service includes:
- Finding you work as a caregiver within local health services
while you are on your course.
- Sourcing work opportunities for you as a Registered Nurse after
graduation.
- Liasing with healthcare facilities with regards your interview,
salary and contract.
- Providing information regarding immigration, NZ nursing
registration, English language tests, police clearances, childcare,
health and indemnity insurance, accommodation, employment for your
spouse, banking, tax etc.
- Assisting with CV preparation and interview training.
- Providing information on all hospitals in New Zealand including
vacancies, ward profiles, location and salaries.
- Setting up meetings and communication with other nurses who
have relocated to New Zealand from overseas for support and
information.
- Offering constant support and guidance from the time you start
your course until well after you have started in your new job.
During your first few weeks at UCOL a Geneva Health
representative will come and talk to you and discuss all of the
information above. We will then keep in contact with you to
support you towards finding your job in New
Zealand.
