Experience and Skills Required
Becoming a Geneva Homecare Assistant may be
easier than you think. If the role described sounds like one
you will enjoy, then you are nearly there!
Many of our assignments do not require previous home-help or
caregiving experience, however there are some attributes you do
need:
- A caring attitude
- Life skills and commonsense
- Trustworthy, responsible and honest
- Ability to communicate in English
- Flexible and adaptable
- Your own car, and a full or restricted driver license
Some of our more complex assignments require some relevant
experience or qualifications, for those interested in developing
these skills we are committed to providing you with learning
opportunities. Please see the qualifications and training
section to find out how you can work while gaining nationally
recognised qualifications.
