How to request care

Our specialist Consultants will ask you a few questions to assess your level of need:

  • What kind of home based care you need
  • Where you live and when you want the care to start

We will gather as much other information as possible then arrange for one of our Registered Nurses to meet with you to assess how much and what type of in home care is needed.

The Registered Nurse will then:

  • Develop your personalised service plan
  • Advise on funding options available
  • Make sure you're comfortable with the care plan and confirm everything in writing
  • Arrange for care to begin

Your wellbeing is our top priority, so we will touch base with your regularly to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your care.

Care to be supplied by an ACC Provider?

Are you covered by ACC for the provision of care? Do you provide care for a family member funded by ACC?

Geneva Care is an ACC Contracted Preferred Provider of home based care.  This means that if you are covered by ACC for home based care, or if you provide care for a family member who is covered by ACC, then Geneva Care can provide the specialist care and support your needs.

We are always available to discuss private funder options.  Whether you need professional Registered Nursing services or someone to help maintain your home environment, you can feel confident when you choose Geneva Care that you have chosen the best.

Geneva Care operates highly responsively with easily accessable communication methods.  You can contact contact the Geneva Care team via phone, email and fax.

Specialist Consultants are available between the hours of 5:30am and 11:30pm who can respond to your query immediately in most circumstances.  Emails will be responded to during normal business hours.

Outside of normal business hours we have an after hours team that is dedicated to supporting your needs.  In the case of an emergency our team is able to be contacted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
